From October 2007 for PRE LOAD (HSFG) and October 2009 for NON PRELOAD (4.6-10.9 Grade Fasteners) products must comply with the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC as amended by 93/68/EEC. One method of achieving this is to CE Mark the fasteners. Andrews lead the way with PRE LOAD fasteners and now we are again leading the way with NON PRELOAD Fastners. On the 14th May 2007 the factory gained approval for the supply of BS EN 14399 Pre Load Fasteners. On the 16th April 2008 the factory passed its audit by Lloyds Register for BS EN 15048 Non Pre Load fasteners. Please click here for a summary document explaining CE APPROVAL FOR FASTENERS.
